We are looking to hire a strong and experienced Project Manager to lead/manage the project schedule for cost model assessment delivery to the Partnership Program Office in support of part valuation (PV) adjustments. This position establishes key priorities in the cost modeling/part valuation process and oversees the execution of resource allocations to ensure optimization of strategy and implementation. Reporting to the Associate Director for Cost Modeling, the successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and tactical execution of cost model execution and delivery for various commercial engine programs. This will include resource planning, schedule creation and execution, identification of process improvements, and responsibility for working with key customers and internal stakeholders in a cross functional environment. The successful candidate will have accountability for schedule performance and customer satisfaction of delivered cost models for various engine programs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to establish timelines for cost model assessment deliveries to the Partnership Program Office.
- Understand the different evaluation methods used throughout different stages of the program to support conversations with stakeholders/customers.
- Report out to both Operations and Partnership Program Office Leadership on progress status.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Core Manufacturing, Partnership Program Office, and CE Finance for the closure of cost assessment initiatives.
- Develop Cost Modeling department capacity plan based on customer demand.
- Balance schedule and workload against team capability and customer requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years prior relevant experience OR`
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Project Management Experience
- Familiarity with Class I Engineering Changes
- Previous experience managing projects with geographically diverse teams in a remote environment
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ITC
- CORE Apprentice
