Job Description:
The Professional Project Manager will work on a hybrid-remote team and is responsible for overall day-to-day management of projects within an agreed project schedule and scope for the Science & Analytics team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather project requirements using a range of requirements gathering techniques.
- Create project overview and project initiation documents to present options and overviews back to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Analyze and document business requirements and reach out to sponsors for their agreement and approval, including project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
- Deliver and maintain implementation and project documentation, including routine project plan, updates, and project progress deliverables.
- Anticipate business issues and work with the sponsors, stakeholders, and SMEs to minimize their impact on the project.
- Collaborate with both internal and external project team members to ensure that the project progresses, and services are delivered, risks are mitigated, and issues are resolved.
- Act as a central point of contact (or mediator) during the project for stakeholders and operations where issues need to be resolved.
- Conduct Post Implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement and follow/track actions.
- Complete internally focused projects as required.
- Coach and assist project teams in driving agile development and delivery.
- Creation and maintenance of project documentation such as CARDI logs, test plans, resource plans and training plans.
- Coordination and execution of meetings, workshops, and demonstration.
- Business and system process mapping
- Project status reporting
Job Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools as well as software development cycle
- Leadership skills with an ability to drive activity and influence people across the organization.
- Proven track record of success with identifying and quantifying issues and risks
- Experience managing multiple projects or large projects with complex interdependencies.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets and understanding of software capitalization.
- Meeting facilitation experience with complex, cross functional and distributed teams
- Exposure to working across multiple departments to enable production delivery and benefit realization.
- Oral communication skills sufficient to explain business needs to stakeholders and team members.
- Written communication skills sufficient to create complex project plans and easily digestible status views.
- Proficient in JIRA, Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and portfolio management tools
- Preferable PMP and Scrum Master certifications
- Effectively lead by example, acting as a role model to employees and customers of all levels.
- An ability to demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive working relationships at all levels within the organization and externally.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
Annual Pay Range:
71,200 - 96,300 USD
