Are you someone who excels at actively collaborating with the customers, leading a team to get things done, and can still be hands with your expertise? This position is focused on leading service delivery for our customer's business and financial management tasks.   

This role also serves in a corporate leadership capacity as an engagement manager, supporting our client, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  This PM role will support the telecommunications group with the largest FAA operating budget in the agency and lead the team responsible for the analysis, formulation, and execution of financial management.  Ideal candidates will have had previous work experience with FAA and extensive PM experience in a financial/accounting capacity.  This is a 100% telecommuting position (must be local to DC/VA/MD area).   

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the customer on FAA business and financial management topics. The role would require taking ownership of the customer's budget and financial management environment by proactively managing workflow and being a reliable/trusted advisor to the customer.
• Lead a team of analysts at all levels (junior, mid, senior) and partners to ensure successful delivery of services.
• Utilize in-depth understanding of the FAA financial environment (lifecycle of F&E and Ops funding) to plan, direct, track, and conduct quality assurance on deliverables.
• Collaborate with the customer to establish quarterly and monthly program goals, and subsequently manage execution on a daily basis, including regular status reporting.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the customer, Changeis, and partner organizations.
• Coach and develop existing and new team members for professional development and program success.
• Accountable to management for overall contract performance.
• Participate in thought leadership activities to innovate service delivery of financial management services and grow the company's financial and business management practice.

Minimum qualification:

• Bachelors and 15+ years of experience.
• Well networked in the FAA financial management ecosystem to anticipate delivery risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) is a requirement.
