Project Manager - Financial Systems (OneStream Experience Required)

Position Summary:

Penske is seeking an ambitious and inquisitive Financial Systems Project Manager to join our Controllership team. Penske is a leader in the transportation industry. We help move lives and businesses forward. The Controllership team is looking for an individual to provide u201cbest in classu201d support through their expertise and fresh thinking. The Financial Systems Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization on the development, implementation and ongoing administration and maintenance of various financial systems. In addition, this position will participate in special projects.

Major Responsibilities:

u2022 Lead financial systems projects, including implementations and related testing. Ensure completion within specifications, on time, and within budget.

u2022 Perform systems-related assessments and cost benefit analyses. Define business requirements and functional specifications.

u2022 Develop and drive enhancements and improvements for productivity, efficiency, and quality of financial data

u2022 Ensure controls are in place and compliance requirements are met for system changes

u2022 Support the administration, security and maintenance for OneStream and other financial systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Areas include the general ledger chart of accounts and related mapping, dimensions, business rules, entity structure, eliminations, consolidation, and other items.

u2022 Through financial systems, support business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements and audits, acquisitions, and other items

u2022 Maintain knowledge of trends and developments with financial systems, technology, and best practices

u2022 Establish rapport and build cooperative working relationships with relevant internal and external parties

u2022 Provide customer support and training for end users

Qualifications:

u2022 Minimum 5 years related experience demonstrating knowledge of finance and information systems

u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required, with strong information technology skills or Bacheloru2019s degree in Information Systems required, with strong accounting/finance skills

u2022 Advanced financial system administration experience required

u2022 OneStream experience required

u2022 Knowledge of scripting language required

u2022 Experience with system implementations and project management required

u2022 Strong organization, attention to detail and analytical skills required

u2022 Strong communication and presentation skills required

u2022 Strong team player and self-driven individual

u2022 Strong time management skills for a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines

u2022 Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

u2022 Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
