Delivering projects in a way which ensures the right design is handed over to make pharmaceutical products in-line

with a pre-agreed schedule and at a pre-agreed cost requires a risk based approach which considers a number of

elements. These elements include the right technical solution, contract strategy, procurement strategy, regulator

approvals, consideration of future expansion, environmental considerations, facility energy efficiency and overall

security to name but a few.

which meets our pharmaceutical clients expectations allowing them to start production as planned with saleable life

saving drugs and treatments.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team of passionate professionals who are committed to

providing our clients with best in class support whilst striving to achieve our mission of supporting our clients in

their pursuit of delivering life saving drugs through the right technical solution on time and on cost.

Role Description:

The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring successful delivery of projects for FPC Life Sciences

division and our clients. As a part of the FPC Life Sciences Team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible

for supporting our clients with planning, executing, monitoring, communicating and controlling projects throughout

their lifecycle. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives

around scope, schedule, budget and safety are met.

The Senior Project Manager will represent FPC LS in dealings with clients, partners, and suppliers, maintaining a

high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and ethical conduct. They will contribute to the growth and

development of the Project Management Team within the Life Sciences Division and support FPC's overall

business objectives. The Senior Project Manager will also be the front face of FPC LS in meeting the expectations

of our clients on a day to day basis and representing the business at all levels of stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

● Manage front-end activity to set projects up for success in every aspect

● Oversee projects from initiation to closure, ensuring the right scope is delivered on schedule, and budget

● Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets

● Create a collaborative execution team with delivery partners and suppliers with shared goals

● Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

● Serve as the main point of contact for clients, partners, and suppliers

● Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

● Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project progress

● Manage project changes and scope creep

● Support the development and improvement of project management processes and methodologies

● Mentor and train junior FPC LS staff

The requirements for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Experience and Qualifications:

The Project Manager should possess the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years project management experience
• Minimum 5 years of working within Life Sciences and/or Pharmaceuticals
• Experience in client management and stakeholder engagement
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams
• Proven ability of creating and managing collaborative teams
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong technical understanding of GMP facilities
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferable but not essential

Location

This position is based in the UK and may require occasional travel to client sites or other FPC locations.
