What you will be doing

The Project Manager, Global HR PMO will be responsible for providing project management support, delivery, and execution for cross-functional, complex projects for the Global HR Centers of Expertise.
  • Accountable for the delivery of key projects and initiatives across the global HR function
  • Builds and manages project plans; ensure project commitments are met - on time and within budget; monitors and ensures the development, tracking and execution of project deliverables
  • Ensures that all projects are managed through consistent PMO standards; project organization and governance structure, communication, change management, KPI's
  • Establishes strong working relationships with COEs and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines & deliverables
  • Delivers timely and concise communications, status updates and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Supports change management efforts where applicable
  • Identifies issues and potential risks within the project(s); proactively manages to resolution and/ or mitigation with the assistance of the leadership team
  • Supports overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress.
  • Ensures continuous improvement of processes and methodologies; contributes to refinement of program management methodology
  • Performs related duties as assigned

What your background should look like

  • BA/BS in Management, Human Resources, or related field; PMI certification or equivalent project management methodology training and hours preferred.
  • Requires full project life cycle experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
  • Technical expertise in project management support tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within the organization
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of HR business principles, processes and technology is preferred
  • Ability to organize, plan, and implement projects of various size and scope
  • Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Project, Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook
