Requirements

What you will be doing:
 

  • End-to-End Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle of strategic projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders and senior management, to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with senior management. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and track progress against milestones.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage issues that may arise and ensure proper resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams (engineering, product, IT operations) to ensure project requirements are fully understood and delivered effectively.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management, including key project metrics, progress reports, risks, and issues.
  • Agile and Waterfall Methodologies: Use appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) based on project requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • Vendor Management: If applicable, work with external vendors and third-party providers to ensure successful project delivery
  • What we look for in you:
    Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on delivering technical software projects, ideally within financial services or trading environments.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly within trading or financial platforms. Experience with trading systems is a plus.
  • Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt based on project needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve project issues effectively.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Tools: Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence
