Project Manager, HR

The Project Manager, Human Resources, is primarily responsible for leading high-impact strategic initiatives for Human Resources across Iron Mountain globally. Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of highly complex solutions and providing a single point of contact for assigned projects.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to be agile, responsive, work under tight deadlines, and be competent in using project management tools. The candidate must possess exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, global, multifaceted environment. Excellent planning, intelligence, attention to details, time management, communication, efficient context switching and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and ensure business outcomes are delivered according to expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Initiation: Review the business case, clarify goals and approach, scope, and resources
  • Lead all elements of assigned projects to deliver the stated goals and objectives
  • Align project changes, risks, mitigation strategies, and dependencies with the overall change management plan
  • Negotiate and manage trade-offs between time, cost, and scope
  • Produce accurate and timely communications and reporting for all assigned projects
  • Lead or support governance meetings and reviews

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience. Internal customer-facing, HR project experience preferred
  • Demonstrable experience transitioning business processes and executing transformation projects
  • Experience working on global projects with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience implementing or operating in a shared services model
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Organizational change management experience desirable
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Comfortable with digital tools and learning new ways of working
  • High degree of personal ownership and accountability to consistently deliver results and prioritize work in a fast-paced and high-profile environment
  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to independently learn new processes and skills
  • Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Able to self-start effectively with ambiguity and varying levels of detail
  • Able to work with virtual project teams to deliver internal projects
  • Experience with online project management tools such as Smartsheet is an advantage
