Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Project Manager to work in our Pittsburgh, PA office. This is a key, client facing role. You will engage with talented industry professionals, apply technical skills and perform project management best practices. You will engage with clients throughout a project, oversee complex projects and implement product offerings to our clients.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project leadership from the point of sale through turnover of clients' system to on-going support - all phases of the project from kickoff to go-live
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with both clients, peers and management to determine the scope and objectives of each project
- Oversee the development, maintenance and enhancement of systems as part of the overall project to ensure they operate according to client specifications
- Monitor timelines and resource utilization according to objectives and specifications defined in the project plan
- Handle related tasks aimed at project completion, including but not limited to:
- Effectively address project challenges
- Onboard data feeds
- Data research and analysis
- Establish system parameters and settings
- Understand the database table structures and interact with the data using SQL
- Interact with business unit executives and project management teams to communicate operational status, key project status, and business value of services provided.
- Externally, you will collaborate with clients and will need to prepare business review documents and coordinate client implementations, conversions or pre-defined project initiatives.
- Provide timely reports of deliverables and challenges to ensure senior management understands project risk.
- Responsible for monitoring progress to provide updates to clients, the project team and management
- Resolve any conflicts between client expectations and actual work output
- Conduct fit/gap analysis when needed
- Work with team members (development, product managements, operations, data center associates, and others) as needed to ensure that all tasks are recorded, planned and risks are documented
- Assist in the creation of contract change orders for any item identified as out of scope of the original contract
- Work with internal teams to build out onboarding structures for new product launches
- Utilize Power BI to streamline organizational processes and report on analytics across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and effective time management skills
- Experience managing high-profile projects that require working with cross-functional teams
- Detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and problem solving abilities
- Have an ability to perform data research and analysis
- Understanding distribution within the Financial Services industry a plus, preferably within the Mutual Fund Industry
- Experience using the following technologies at a moderate level is preferred: SQL, execution of scripts via the command prompt, MS Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word), MS Power BI #LI-PS1
