Project Manager I
Job Description
Introduction:
A Project Manager I is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. They coordinate and oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed successfully, on time, and within scope. Project Managers work closely with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to define project objectives, create schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.

Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Allocate resources and coordinate project team members’ activities.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team members and stakeholders to review progress and address issues.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate and document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices for future projects.

Required Skills:
- Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related role is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying project goals, progress, and issues to team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Leadership Abilities: The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts is crucial for successful project management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Must be adept at identifying and addressing issues that arise during the project lifecycle, such as resource constraints, scope changes, and unforeseen issues.
- Time Management: Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize potential impacts on project success.
- Budget Management: Skill in creating and managing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Team Collaboration: Skilled at fostering collaboration and teamwork among project team members, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Quality Management: Must have a solid understanding of quality assurance principles and methods to ensure project deliverables meet established standards and expectations.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments while maintaining focus on project goals and objectives.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques to resolve conflicts, reach consensus, and manage expectations among stakeholders with competing interests.
