Project Manager I (T)

SUMMARY

The Project Manager I is the administrative leader of access only projects with specific responsibilities to include planning, organizing and administering the contract with the client as well as contracts with all subcontractors. The PM I monitors and proactively manages the schedule, cost, contract changes and all financial aspects of the project, reporting them both internally and externally to the client.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver our financial commitments by activating revenue, while maintaining an active and thoughtful communication pattern with vendors, internal and external customers while balancing time versus profits to make sure efforts reflect and anticipated return (revenue, growth and customer retention)
• Manage Project budget and project P&L responsibility of up to 15 access control projects
• Prepares the project installation plan, determines goals, manages the plan, prepares and implements job procedures
• Maintains construction schedules and coordinates task-scheduling with other trades
• Maintains all records of job status, job changes and material flow
• Plans and schedules engineering, installation and subcontracting activities
• Supervise installation labor and sub-contractors
• Prioritize team workload to ensure quality results are delivered on time and within budget
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage appropriate management and resources as needed to mitigate impacts
• Develop fallback and contingency plans
• Supports processes for invoicing, billing, pay applications, OCIP/CCIP and other financial services that will ultimately drive efficiency and support our clients
• Assist with special projects as requested, including custom reports and special data requests and/or explanations
• Make recommendations on process improvement that will aid the department in meeting its goals and objectives
