We are currently hiring a Project Manager II to join our U.S. MTO Science team in Fort Worth, TX. This person will support the business goals and objectives through efficient, effective and comprehensive project management solutions as well as providing project management expertise to one or more projects of significant importance and difficulty where the scope, complexity, risk, and investment involved requires the broad application of advanced project management knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-leadership role on cross-functional teams to develop project plans, forecasts/budgets, and timelines (milestones) for technically complex projects.
• Leads project schedule development and has advanced knowledge of functional department dependencies. Uses advanced tools like tracking, flags, and baselines to monitor and execute the project.
• Applies knowledge of product lifecycle management to effectively identify impacted areas and develop project milestones.
• Co-leads the detailed monitoring and reporting of project team activities against project plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope.
• Use appropriate communication tools to ensure that all project customers are informed of project status.
• Partner with team members to facilitate risk management of projects and escalation/mitigation of significant deviations.
• Actively runs cross functional team meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, recording actions, and driving accountability.
• Assists in creating presentations with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Partners with SMEs to lead milestone setting. Actively monitors and reports milestone progress to the cross functional team and outside groups. Can confidently address any questions regarding milestone status.
• Has an advanced understanding of the Governance process and deliverables. Ensures the cross functional team adheres to it.

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Work hours: 40 hours
• Travel Requirements: Up to 5% Domestic

Preferred Qualifications/skills Experience:

• Degree in Science or Engineering
• Experience in Medical Device or Pharma
• Extensive Project management experience
• PMP certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge and use of project management processes and tools
• Advanced understanding of full R&D lifecycle process from Initiation to Launch
