Project Manager II, Enterprise PMO - Remote

As a Project Manager II, Enterprise PMO, you will be responsible for leading key projects in several different business divisions within GXO. You will work with small to large cross-functional project teams to implement new business and/or continuous improvement initiatives ensuring the projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager II will complete weekly project status updates for executive review and receive monthly project audits on all projects to meet governance metrics on process compliance.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide leadership for project execution for both internal departments and external clients
- Create and manage cohesive project plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, risk/issue mitigation processes and major milestones
- Facilitate meetings to discuss tasks, budget and resolve conflicts
- Report project status on a weekly basis
- Document and update processes
- Serve as the single point of contact for project communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support other project managers and project team members as needed
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Supply Chain) or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of project management experience leading medium to large complex initiatives
- Experience creating and managing timelines and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience presenting to C-Suite Executives
- Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally within the organization
- Strong verbal skills to facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written skills to convey project status effectively
- Self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision in a team environment to drive results
- Highly organized and detail oriented to keep project team on task to meet project objectives
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
It'd be great if you also have:
- 2-5 years of experience in project management
- Background in Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation
- CAPM, PMP Certification
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Smartsheet experience
