Project Manager II, Process Improvement
Job Description
ADP is hiring a Project Manager II, Process Improvement (Internal Projects). In this position, you'll be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of a variety of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading full lifecycle internal system and process implementations, as well as Lean Six Sigma process improvement projects for internal Insurance Services clients
- Manage all project phases, including Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Control and Closure
- Create project plans, including deliverables, activities, communication, timelines, risks and budgets - following our project standard
- Direct day-to-day activities of projects and staff in a diverse matrixed organization
- Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight and coordination of resources
- Work collaboratively with other teams impacting the project while developing rapport and building long-lasting positive business relationships
- Lead communication with all stakeholders and team members through completion of the project
- Provide scheduled and on-demand status reports and updates
- Direct project timelines and budgets
- Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues
- Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects and demonstrate flexibility if parameters change
- Make decisions based on information and input in a timely manner
- Work on projects of high complexity and on several projects concurrently
- Leveraging PMI Project Management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools
- Bachelor's degree
- At least three years of project management experience
- At least two years experience leading projects
- Must be comfortable working with executive stakeholders as well as with large and diverse teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative approach to work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
- CAPM or PMP project management certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with project management and lean six sigma tools and structured methodologies
- Prior experience with successfully implementing corporate technologies / internal solutions
- Knowledge of Insurance Services and related company products
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, Microsoft 365 Automation, Minitab, Smartsheet
- Commitment to being accountable for results
- Strong focus on internal client service and delivery
- Ability to think independently and make decisions
- Capacity to effectively lead a project team
