The Security and Mission Assurance Strategic Capabilities Unit provides discriminating support to the business to ensure success. We focus on threat identification, risk assessment, and mitigation while improving the efficiency of the business through effective governance and analysis of process, data and overall business knowledge.
Project Manager II - Quality & Systems Assurance
Oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of assigned projects.
What You'll Do:

• As project will be part of the larger SCU strategy, synchronization of the project with the SCU project portfolio is essential.
• Act as liaison between SMA leadership, project team, and the project sponsor.
• Plan, execute, monitor, control, document, and communicate all aspects of projects: cost, schedule, scope, technical performance, and resource use/needs.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and implement MAM training materials.
• Develop, manage, document, and communicate training schedules/timeline along with expectations for MAM attendees and other candidates.
• Act as the owner of competency matrices and associated curriculum for staff supporting programs and missions; developing material as needed to fulfill needs of the business and SCU strategic direction & vision.
• Identify curriculum topics and work to exploit commonality between MAM, PMA, and Systems Engineering training materials.
• Identify & assist in the shared needs of SMA to bring lessons learned from current role to other parts of the department to include the Security & Operations teams.
• Evaluate and resolve project issues to meet defined goals and objectives.
• Plan, monitor, document, and execute mitigation plans for project risk.
• Develop, use, and maintain tools to monitor project progress.
• Recommend changes and enhancements to project operations.
• Work with functional management for MAM team to develop career-based goals and objectives from training and competency matrices.
• Work with functional manager for MAMs to evaluate and assess performance against goals and objectives for the purpose of career planning, advancement, and staffing.
• Plan, monitor, and control project scope.
• Plan and conducts regular project meetings.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:

• BS/BA in a related field plus 6 or more years related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Flexible On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three or more days per work week. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• HIRING SALARY RANGE: $89,000 - $120,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
