Position Purpose: With the Medicare corporate Strategic team, the experienced project manager will coordinate, track and complete projects utilizing both market and operational dual levers to determine project needs.
Daily responsibilities include aligning Medicare and Medicaid projects with business objectives, constructing detailed work plans, managing teams, achieving milestones, and communicating the results to stakeholders. The Medicare Strategy team is looking for an experienced project manager with Medicare and Medicaid knowledge to plan, organize and oversee projects from start to finish.
Effective communication, time management and Medicare/Medicaid knowledge is needed to create weekly executive report summaries, understand the project detail to gather notes during each project meeting and obtain status updates from stakeholders after meetings to ensure the project's success.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 4+ years of project management and implementation or program management experience. Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools. Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.
License/Certification: PMP, PgMP, or CAPM preferred.
