Project Manager - Implementation

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving projects to successful completion, as defined by the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each client engagement. Client profile comprises a diverse set of small to medium sized banks and financial institutions. The ideal candidate exhibits a proven track record of consistently exceeding client expectations, possesses good leadership and communication traits, and the ability to influence outcomes in spite of not having a direct reporting relationship with project stakeholders (internal and client).

Essential Functions

• Define, create, and maintain project plans.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate the efforts of project teams comprised of Business Analyst, Process Consultants, and Software Developers.
• Manage the project budget and schedule.
• Manage the customer relationship throughout the duration of the project.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain project documentation throughout the duration of the project.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform risk management assessment to minimize project risk.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation

Requirements

• 3-5 years Technical project management experience
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Prior experience in software development or software as a service (SAAS) a plus but not required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients - including end users up to the "C-Suite" when necessary
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate solutions to technical issues
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Banking or Financial Services Industry experience a plus but not required
