We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Project Manager, Implementation. In this position, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the successful implementation of energy efficiency projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless execution of installations and maintenance services. The Project Manager will be responsible for optimizing processes, managing resources, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The Project Manager, Implementation will play a key role in the deployment of energy saving technologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the deployment of HVAC, refrigeration, LED lights, and other energy efficiency equipment upgrades, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, for projects varying in complexity across multisite locations at a national level.
  2. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestones, closely monitoring progress to ensure adherence to timelines and cost objectives.
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including installation technicians, operations, sales, and engineering, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  4. Manage and allocate resources effectively, including technicians, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and minimize downtime.
  5. Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  7. Proactively communicate project status, updates, and potential delays to internal stakeholders and customers, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  8. Proactively manage contractors and subcontractors involved in the implementation of energy efficiency projects, ensuring they adhere to project requirements, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, fostering effective communication, collaboration, and accountability throughout project execution.
  10. Monitor contractor performance, evaluating their adherence to project schedules, budget constraints, and quality expectations, and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
  11. Collaborate with the Fulfillment/Procurement team to manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials and equipment to contractors.
  12. Coordinate with Fulfillment/Procurement to resolve any issues related to material availability, quality, or delivery, ensuring timely resolution to maintain project momentum.
  13. Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking all project-related materials and equipment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3- 9 years experience as a Project Manager or similar role in field operations, preferably in the energy efficiency, construction, or HVAC industries.
  • Strong knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, including HVAC systems, refrigeration, and LED lighting is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and customers.

Compensation

$72,000—$85,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
