This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

Senior level project management in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Drive the business by delivering results while employing the appropriate project management delivery framework. This position will use either hybrid Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum processes to work with the teams in delivering projects for the business. Assignments may include providing coordination between teams using different methodologies and providing management reporting and cross-team synchronization.

Work at a program level of project management on projects of extra-large size and complexity. Provide oversight of work performed by other project managers that rolls up under assigned programs.

What you do

  • Work with sponsor to understand project or program strategic alignment and define deliverables, benefits, success criteria, assumptions, constraints, and steering team membership.
  • Work with sponsors, subject matter experts, and project teams to identify project/program approach, breaks down project work into tasks, obtain estimates for those tasks, and identify task dependencies to create the project plan and schedule. Program managers will create a program roadmap and manage program integration and delivery.
  • Identify project costs and work to manage those in conjunction with sponsor.
  • Identify and monitor causes of variance in cost and schedule, document lessons learned to allow for continuous improvement to the delivery process.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand how deliverables change business processes and ensure appropriate training is planned.
  • Establish and follow review/approval process for deliverables while identifying and actively managing risks and issues.
  • Actively manage scope changes that affect the scope, cost, quality, and schedule and provide alternatives to steering team and sponsor for approval.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution between stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and spreading information appropriately.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination education and relevant experience required.
  • 4-7 years or greater of relevant project management experience involving multiple execution methodologies including Waterfall and Agile / Scrum.
  • PMI PMP, PMI ACP, ACP, or other similar certifications are desired.
