Project Manager, Marketing - Gartner Digital Markets
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be passionate about all areas of Creative Project Management and Operations, with a keen ability to lead and drive multiple / simultaneous projects, schedule complex timelines, establish rapport and cultivate relationships, allocate resources, understand scope, aggregate post-mortem feedback and data, guard process and workflow across different teams.The Project Manager will act as a Scrum Master/Project Manager for brand and creative initiatives for our internal teams on a day-to-day basis. This candidate is accountable for managing and orchestrating milestones, roadmap timelines, risks, issues, and resource management across critical brand and creative initiatives. In this role you will be required to manage and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.The candidate should have experience running projects in an Agile/Scrum environment within Workfront.
What You'll Do:
This role will manage end-to-end project plans to meet key milestones, deadlines and drive efficiencies in the production process.
Lead communication of timelines, status updates, expectations, scope, and potential risks to stakeholders and leadership.
Govern consistent delivery of the cross programs with a Scrum/Agile approach while driving efficiencies through strong reporting, while implementing new processes and establishing prioritization models.
Partner closely with other Sr. Members of the Brand team to resource and scope projects while partnering with other Project Managers to ensure alignment on delivery across cross-functional teams.
Drive and facilitate the right discussions with business leaders to identify business capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives.
Participate in and lead stand-ups with Brand and Creative teams outlining priorities, capturing and removing roadblocks while ensuring that risks and issues are mitigated and resolved.
Participate in regular training sessions to use our Project Management tool and assist in the maintenance and onboarding of appropriate vendors and new members.
Ensure that projects launch on-time, delivering to expectation, as well as initiating and driving post-campaign assessments (post-mortem).
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- PMP certified, Scrum certified, or Agile certified desirable.
- 3 - 5+ years program management experience driving large-scale transformation projects (1-3-year initiatives).
- Experience with enterprise project management tools like Workfront is strongly desired.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills tailored to meet the needs of the different end users, team members, sr. management and executive leadership.
- Must be well organized, methodical and pay close attention to detail and able to work well in a highly collaborative cross discipline team.
- Solution minded, detail-oriented and is firm yet flexible.
- Leading teams in a matrix environment consisting of various types of roles and skill sets with proven ability to collaborate in a global / matrix environment.
- Understanding and appreciation of processes/procedures and governance required to lead projects and programs
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to breakdown complex business problems and workflows into meaningful components that are understandable by various levels
- DAM implementation experience is desired.
