The Project Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible to drive the management of all Marketing-led projects across Purple Carrot, and those within the Purple Carrot Marketing Team. This individual will support the Digital Creative Marketing team, the Growth Marketing team, the Lifecycle team and work with cross-functional teams to streamline communication and ensure on-time delivery of assets. He or she will own the process from inception to completion, including managing the project schedules, resource allocation, and delivery of assets.
Location
- This role will be expected to report to our Needham, MA office 2-3 days per week, working closely with the on-site Culinary, Photo/Video and Social Media team members.
On the Plate
- Facilitate cross-functional partnerships and coordinate projects for multiple teams: Brand Marketing, Growth Marketing, Product Development, Partnerships, Lifecycle, Social Media and the Creative Team
- Manage the RACI process leading company-wide collaboration when the Marketing team is the Responsible party
- Support Creative Team workflow procedures and best practices in partnership with the Sr. Creative Director
- Manage projects efficiently using team preferred tools (Asana)
- Establish and maintain project processes, training cross-functional teams
- Receive 360 marketing creative requests and manage brief turn-in meetings to ensure project objectives are clear before work commences
- Work closely with Marketing Analytics to ensure all project performance data is flowing from team-to-team
- Plan and execute timelines across multiple projects simultaneously
- Traffic projects between all necessary departments to seek proper approvals and see through execution
- Identify potential issues that may impact meeting objectives and on-time delivery and propose solutions to keep moving towards completion
Main Ingredients
- Ability and willingness to work in our Needham, MA office in a weekly, hybrid capacity
- Superior organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to adjust to work in a fast-paced environment and make prioritization judgments against current resources and budget while keeping bigger-picture business goals in mind
- Complete understanding of creative process and production process to build schedule from inception to project completion
- Comfortable managing and influencing cross-functional teams
- Ability to anticipate team workload and establish schedules/ timelines/workflow to meet deadlines
- 3-5 Years of creative operations and marketing project management experience
Extra Special Sauce
- Knowledge of computer programs including Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
- BA or BFA preferred
