Project Manager, Math Equity R&D Grant (Contract)

Project Description:
We are seeking a Project Manager for a collaborative research initiative between Amplify, a district partner, and a research partner for the grant period January 2023 through June 2025. The grant will fund backend digital database development and requires strong management of both an internal project team and external partners.
Amplify's COVID-19 vaccination policy requires all staff to provide proof of vaccination for in-person meetings unless an approved exemption is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plan for grant period with internal Amplify project team
- Help plan project kickoff in January 2023
- Develop project plan for grant period with internal Amplify project team and external partners

- Represent Amplify in regular planning meetings with partner organizations
- Run internal meetings with Amplify project team
- Track internal project goals and grant deliverables
- Regularly meet with manager to update on project and troubleshoot any obstacles
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in implementation project management, and a background in impeccable customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external team members
- Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment while keeping calm under pressure.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets, Trello)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large school districts and/or state education agencies.
- Experience project managing grants between philanthropic foundations, research institutions, and school districts.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $75 per hour.
