Rockstar is on the lookout for a Media Systems Project Manager who will maximize business performance through analytics, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. At Rockstar we are leveraging the latest AVoIP and immersive, interactive technologies for global collaboration and development.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams; responsibilities include supporting business planning, driving strategic projects, conducting business analytics, and improving operational excellence. Key deliverables include executing global projects, proactively identifying and improving efficiency initiatives, and deploying tools to enhance workflows. This is a full-time, in-person position to be based in Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO- The Rockstar Games Media Systems Team maintain our infrastructure to the highest standard, with an emphasis on preventative actions rather than reactive.
- We are a team spread across 3 continents that works closely together to achieve our goals to a high standard.
- We work across studios to support end users primarily in Video Production, Audio Production, Motion Capture, Live Streams, and Game Capture.
- Our team works with multiple departments on the Publishing and Development teams to record, edit, and track audio files of dialogue and sound effects for Rockstar’s games and marketing assets.
- Project plan, both short and long-term, for Media Systems projects. This includes defining deliverables, required resources, outlining budgets, and establishing scope across multiple studios and regions.
- Own critical projects and initiatives for the Media Systems team, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Effectively communicate team goals, seek out information needed for the team to be impactful, and provide resources required to achieve goals while removing roadblocks along the way.
- Define and report on key metrics, project health, risks, and project impact, and enable continuous improvement.
- Identify project risks early and take proactive actions to mitigate these risks.
- Identify strategic insights by paying attention to possible changes to the project and communicating them back to the team.
- Responsible for the alignment, agreement, and documentation of SLA targets and responsibilities - e.g., continually improving the performance of Media Services operations.
- Coordinate and lead technical teams, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for the Media Systems team.
- Manage outsourced vendors as necessary.
- 5+ years of AV project management/business analysis experience.
- End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, and change management.
- Experience operating independently and quickly shifting priorities, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control.
- Demonstrated experience building consensus within large, cross-functional organizations.
- Experience using Monday.com or similar Project Management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate findings in a clear manner to a variety of audiences.
- Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects at once and effectively prioritize tasks to deliver results by given deadline.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business, and technical leaders.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Background in a complex AV environment preferred.
- Interest in gaming a plus!

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
