Project Manager - Mergers and Acquisitions Integration-Carmel, IN (Hybrid)
This Project Manager will be dedicated to the integration coordination and project management of recently acquired companies into Allegion and other special projects and initiatives. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional activities of various organizations including Finance, IT, Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Business, etc. to ensure smooth onboarding of the acquired company's employees into Allegion's organization and systems while also working with various functions to achieve business objectives, including, but not limited to synergies, budget, and timelines.
What You Will Do:
- This Project Manager role will be part of a "Integration Management Office" team including the Vice President of Integration Strategy; the Vice President of Business Development; External consultants; and will work directly with the Senior Program Manager.
- Work with all functions, the Vice President of Integration Strategy, and the Vice President of Business Development to ensure an execution strategy and resource plan for each of the various activities of Integration. The scope and complexity of the activities can range from one person actions to large and complex programs with multi-function teams requiring detailed schedules highlighting interdependencies and can involve supporting the international teams as well.
- Lead cross-functional team meetings to continuously track progress, risks and mitigation, issues, actions, and owners to ensure activities are on schedule and within budget while meeting established objectives.
- Assist other functions as needed to achieve Business Objectives including Cost and Revenue Synergies.
- Work with external parties when needed as assets are transitioned to Allegion on a short-term and longer-term basis.
- Contribute and participate in progress report outs to Allegion's Executive Leadership.
- Work with other program managers on interdependencies on simultaneous projects, especially IT.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams utilizing project management tools and techniques including scope management, schedule & budget development and tracking, risk management, and ensuring actions and owners to achieve objectives.
- Experience with M&A Integration preferred.
- Proven problem-solving skills, techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, and comfortable working with all levels in the organization.
- Tenacity in coordination of project team members to achieve program timelines and outcomes.
- Self-starter with a desire to make a significant impact on the project execution.
- Courage to raise issues to upper management with proposals for resolution when needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint and Project or other Scheduling software.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or applicable field required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Project Management and leading cross-functional teams
- CaPM, PMP, or other Project/Program Management Certifications preferred.
- Will require to be on site as needed at Allegion facilities in the U.S. throughout the Integration.
