GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operational aspects of one or more project(s) and serves as a liaison between project management and the project team, planning, engineering, line management, and the customer on issues such as operational and scheduling concerns.
  • Continually reviews status of project(s) and budgets to ensure project(s) are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • May accomplish tasks through subordinate staff and/or management.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project management, line management, and the customer.
  • Responsible for decisions which have an impact on outcomes and where failure to complete assignments will typically result in serious delays and expenditure of additional resources.

Essential Functions:

  • Create project plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.
  • Oversee and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
  • Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services.
  • Assign and monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
  • Interpret and administer policies, processes and procedures that impact project(s).
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Collaborate across management and project team to expand services and potential business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.
  • Identify and assess project issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to employees working on assigned project. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • May be required to interpret and administer policies and procedures that impact project(s).
  • May participate in, lead segments of or provide overall management for the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Additional Functions: Other duties as assigned or required.

  • Building project plans with milestones, budgets and working with Tech Lead to understand tasking and timelines.
  • Communicating effectively internally and externally to manage expectations, resource needs and timelines,
  • Working with the Tech Lead to understand development progress to inform and be successful tracking budget / schedule.
  • Tracking and reporting on key metrics such as estimated complete percentage, remaining budget, forecasted revenue, cost and GM.
  • Keeping the internal labor planning tools updated for forecasting and tracking
  • Providing weekly updates to the Portfolio Director and Executive Leadership team on progress against deliverables as well as other key metrics.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for each customer.
  • Establishing a cadence for, and updating/managing customer expectations.
  • Documenting customer correspondence and meeting notes as necessary.
  • Leveraging collaborative tools and will foster communication between stakeholders (internal and external teams).
  • Ensuring compliance with the contractual commitments CCRi has made to our customers.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters in business administration, finance, or a related field, along with eleven or more years of progressive project administration experience with at least five of the years managing those operations in an engineering or scientific environment.
  • May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate detailed and extensive expertise of project planning and scheduling, as well as monitoring and reporting on these activities.
  • In-depth experience in organizational and operational problem resolution is required.
  • Strong leadership, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills are also required as well as the ability to interpret and explain unusually complex operational issues.
  • Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment.
  • Must also be able to work extended hours and travel as required.
