Job Description

ASRC Federal seeks a Project Managerto support the Defense Information Systems Agency's (DISA) Enterprise in our Pensacola, FL offices. This is an exciting program supporting the Unified Cyber Situational Awareness contract and it will provide the growth opportunity you've been seeking.The ideal candidate project management experience with critical thinking skills to overcome project challenges.

This position shall:

  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedures, user manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Support the tracking of documentation in support of the Risk Management Framework Assessment and Authorization process.
  • Assist in the gathering, analysis, organization, storage and sharing of information in support of Knowledge Management.
  • Work with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projects.
  • Successfully develop strategy, mitigation efforts, and lead project teams to execute projects.
  • Manage teams across business lines.
  • Coordinate resources for the execution of projects.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop and monitor a detailed project plan to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the Government customer and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Maintain project documentation control.
  • Flexibly accept assignments and work independently while seeking guidance as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to support all assigned tasks.
  • Assist the Government in preparing briefings and training documentation on operating procedures and requirements.
  • Create reports and data visualizations to make recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor project schedule compliance levels, identify gaps, and potential issues.
  • Open issues tracking in JIRA and follow up with issue owners.
  • Gather and analyze information to develop regular program status reports.

Periodic travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but will consider all majors with relevant experience.
  • Five years of project management experience.
  • Previous experience producing documentation for consumption by users of systems.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders which include Government customers and teammates while maintaining a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail
  • Jiraยฎ experience
  • DoD SharePoint experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired
  • This is an on-site position in Pensacola, FL.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of an active Secret security clearance or higher.
