Summary

The Project Manager is the point person for customer implementation projects. This role plans, budgets, monitors, and documents all progress of a particular project, including delays, setbacks, and unexpected circumstances. This role leads the resources assigned to the project and is ultimately responsible for the project's success. Works on complex issues requiring broad knowledge, experience, judgment, and discretion. Determines appropriate methods, resources, and partners to accomplish objectives. Interprets company and department policies. Understands and operates within regulatory parameters. 

What You’ll do

  • Acts as the point of contact person for issues regarding the project.

  • Exercises judgment and discretion and makes decisions in areas of responsibility, such as methods, timelines, and resources needed to deliver on expectations. Provides consultative input for decisions made by others.

  • Responsible for the project from inception to completion.

  • Leads the project team and is responsible for holding the team accountable to timelines, budget, deliverables, and scope.

  • Manages project documentation and reporting.

  • Communicates potential delays and estimated delivery dates to all stakeholders.

  • Oversees schedules, budgets, timelines, and project scope to ensure goal attainment. communicates and manages project scope, risks, issues, strategic milestones, deliverables, and issues effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Researches the proper budget for a given project, ensures the team stays within budget and speaks to each budgeted expense.

  • Makes recommendations to readjust the budget as needed, within scope.

  • Stays in constant contact with the customer to ensure project is on track and communicates progress consistently.

  • Consults with stakeholders when project execution does not fall within the budget, timeline, or scope to ensure the project stays within budget, on time, and within scope.

  • Works closely with Stakeholder teams and Workiva management to act as an ambassador and advocate on behalf of the customer.

  • Consult with cross-functional teams to ensure all are aligned.

  • Responsibilities and projects are delegated by leadership; the individual communicates with leadership regarding status and additional needs. 

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of project management or related experience with a Bachelor's Degree

  • Bilingual in Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent or professional-level of Spanish

  • Prince2, PMP, or other PM certification 

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Solid project management and time management skills are a must

  • Familiarity working within the Software or Technology field is strongly preferred

Travel Requirement

  • Up to 10 %

Working Conditions

  • Reliable internet access for any period working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

How You’ll Be Rewarded:

  • Salary range in the US: 

$69,000.00 - $117,000.00

  • A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
  • Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
  • 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
