Position Summary
The Project Manager, Product Development plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's Capital Markets functions. The role is responsible, under moderate supervision, for ensuring that all new and existing loan programs are managed to production with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The role is also responsible for collaborating with respective departments in launching new and maintaining existing loan programs and down payment assistance programs; maintaining current, detailed understanding of regulations, guidelines, and requirements associated with loan programs and working to disseminate this information to relevant parties within the organization and to the sales field.
Essential Functions
- Manage new program requests, create job aids, training materials, etc. related to area(s) of expertise, and serve as an internal subject matter expert, while tracking projects from start to finish on Workfront.
- Create project plan(s), determine project scope, gather requirements, involve stakeholders and manage all phases of the project per the Project Lifecycle Process (small - large projects).
- Deliver assigned projects on schedule aligned with the critical needs of the business vertical or external customer.
- Proficient in all aspects, identifying, analyzing, tracking and monitoring, of the Project Management Body of Knowledge: Scope, Time, Risk, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Procurement and Integration.
- Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule.
- Document the necessary project artifacts, such as guidelines, rate sheets, agreements and applications, to manage the project lifecycle.
- Manage all relationships necessary for a successful project team.
- Work with various departments to ensure products are implemented per the project schedule.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and negotiate with staffing managers for project resources and other various project needs.
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulations including loan products and down payment assistance.
- Serve as point of contact for updates to new and existing down payment assistance programs.
- Utilize project management by maintaining project plans, identifying resource needs, managing project schedules.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate the rollout of new programs, including delivery of workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources.
- Design communications to project members and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks including regular status updates.
- Provide pre- and post- launch communications to impacted teams.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, along with a minimum of four years total experience in mortgage related role(s), three of which reflect direct project management experience.
- Understand the complexity of mortgage industry and various departments (Compliance, Operations, Sales, etc.)
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Intermediate math skills required.
- Intermediate MS Excel analysis skills
- Ethical, with a commitment to company values.
- Moderate to intermittent supervision required, depending on experience.
- Moderate level of independent judgment and discretion used in decision-making, depending on experience.
- Escalate more complex issues for advice and resolution.
- Use sound judgment in executing core job responsibilities.

- Travel: 5%
Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment - no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Targeted Salary Range: $67,704.00 to $92,100.00 annually
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant's geographical location.
