Your Opportunity
Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a talented Project Manager, Operations to join our Business Operations team in executing our vision. The Project Manager will use their organizational skills to research and develop strategies for various projects that support the overall success of Scion’s property operations. This position will lead these efforts through planning, implementation, execution, and completion of each assigned projects. The Project Manager, Operations is accountable for organizing, coordinating, and ensuring execution of each project from inception to completion.
The Project Manager, Operations is a resourceful problem-solver who excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate, and collegiate environment. This role demands effective time management, strong communication, and organizational skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive timeline for operational initiatives, as assigned. Execute and ensure completion of deliverables from initiation to final product, including:
- Create project schedules and milestones and ensure timely completion of various projects.
- Organize and attend project meetings, as needed, including scheduling coordination and assisting with the preparation of deliverables.
- Assist with team communication and escalate items as necessary.
- Research and collect data pertinent to various operational initiatives.
- Utilize software tools to track and report progress on various projects.
- Communicate effectively to key constituents and customers.
- Collaborate with project leads or department heads to develop strategies and recommendations.
- Obtain feedback from key constituents.
- Conduct any training needed for various projects.
- Evaluate opportunities for resources to be stored consistently; oversee Sharepoint page and make routine updates.
- Maintain a working relationship with support departments and provide recommendations to improve interdepartmental communication.
- Work with Learning and Development to provide recommendations to Operations policies.
- Seek opportunities to create efficiencies within the organization that improve workstreams and property performance.
- Maintain Operations calendar and tracker of all assignments, due dates, and training for all property initiatives.
- Ensure property abstract data and information is updated and accurate at all times.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of annual Summit and Basecamp events, Operations Meetings and Regional Manager training, as needed.

What We Require
- College graduate with a project management experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Project Management System a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel, paid by the company.
- Successfully balance multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Operational Details
- Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
- Working hours consist of daytime business hours, requiring additional non-traditional hours during peak times and emergencies.
