Project Manager - QA Systems

The Operations team partners closely with ResMed's five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

The primary role of Quality Assurance function is to ensure that management systems are established to enable business compliance, multiple regulatory frameworks and to support the design, development and manufacture of products which meet our customer's quality requirements. Key deliverables include creating and building relationships with medical device regulatory in every country. Ensure timely registration to meet business needs. Also, responsible for all aspects of auditing to ensure regulation compliance, quality best practice, process improvements and development of supplier quality systems. Provides broad business technical support around QA systems and processes to the organization. Leads and implements significant quality projects across the business and also creates and improves quality and business processes. Capability and process development for compliance and Continuous improvement. Global responsibility for QMS alignment across global quality systems. Maintenance and security of documentation system and record keeping.

• The primary objective of Projects specialization within Quality Assurance Job Family is to lead and implement significant quality projects across the business, to create and improve quality and business processes.
• Work closely with quality professionals in engineering, Information Technology QA, and business processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality business operations.
• Secures organizational commitment regarding priority, budget and resource for successful project implementation and works with IT Squad using agile methodology to develop and maintain QA systems.
• Lead projects with core team members from all ResMed functions involved in assigned projects.
• Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organizational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
• Frequently interacts with managers, supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
• Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• BS in Engineering, Management, Operations, or relevant management area.
• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Quality (Lean or LSS) and/or Total Quality Management.
• 3+ years of experience in Program/Project Management.
• Experienced in concepts surrounding Quality Management System pertaining the Medical device Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivation to deliver results and seek continuous improvement.
