As Vonage API Platform global communication networks and channels grow the greater the need for implementing carrier and country regulation changes and fraud management to stop bad actors using our platform.

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our regulatory compliance and privacy team.  In this role you’ll be managing and steering key regulatory and compliance projects across the global market. The main focus area will be project planning direction prioritization facilitation stakeholder management change management and delivery.

Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and delivery performance of the Product Team working transversely with Product Managers and business owners in the implementation of software based compliance and regulatory requirements.

The heart of your role will be focused on project planning providing direction setting priorities facilitating smooth processes implementing change management managing stakeholder contributions and expectations and overseeing delivery.  In addition to driving project delivery you will also play a key role in facilitating the Vonage Regulatory Board a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team which consults and advises on new demand and key initiatives in regulatory compliance and privacy.

What you will do

• Lead project management for multiple complex projects across a diverse client base.

• Engage with client stakeholders to deeply understand their business operational processes and how our products and solutions can address their specific needs.

• Create and manage the processes to manage regulatory requests across the business with communications working coordinating with individual Product Managers with delivery

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Vonage to formulate detailed project plans and scopes aligning closely with client expectations and requirements.

• Oversee all aspects of project management including:

  • In-depth requirements gathering and precise scope definition.

  • Comprehensive project planning including resource estimation staffing and budgeting.

  • Risk assessment and change management strategies.

  • Multi-project execution monitoring and control.

  • Project close-out and handover procedures.

  • Consistent and transparent reporting.

• Facilitate effective communication across all project phases ensuring clear consistent and timely updates from kickoff through to completion.

• Prepare update and present detailed project-related communication materials and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.

• Monitor and analyse project performance metrics reporting on progress challenges and outcomes.

• Uphold high standards of project management ensuring adherence to Vonage’s methodologies best practices and policies.

What you will bring

• Experience in managing cross-departmental projects particularly in the cloud communications industry.

• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated expertise in facilitation capable of leading diverse global teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders across the business from software Engineers through to Finance Security Legal and Operations teams

• Proven ability to influence and steer project assessment planning design development and implementation phases

What is required for application

Required

• Prior experience in a project management position

• Experience in telco cloud or finance industries preferred

Desired

• Deep understanding of CPaaS and API technologies

• Experience in delivering compliance projects in highly regulated industries such as telecommunications cloud healthcare finance or governmental.

• An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations

• Certified compliance professional is a plus

• Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scrum Kanban)

• Experience using Jira Confluence and project management tools

• Experience of working with API based services

• Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in global regulation compliance and privacy.
