Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in exploring, documenting, improving, and governing all major revenue processes within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly with Technology, to ensure seamless integration and efficiency in Revenue-related projects. Additionally, you will spearhead the development of a master data management team and associated processes. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical, communication, project management skills, and the ability to manage people through both direct and indirect relationships. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to revenue strategy and project management.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage revenue-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project objectives.
- Complete project analysis to determine valuation and fit with company goals.
- Prioritize Revenue related projects, ensuring fit to broader Revenue Strategy.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage third party relations including assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and training sessions to drive process understanding, alignment, and adoption.
Process Improvement
- Explore, analyze, and document all major revenue processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current workflows, systems, and pain points.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and revenue generation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process improvements and integration of new systems or tools.
- Act as the key liaison between Revenue Operations and Technology team providing expertise and leadership in the prioritization of projects involving technology.
- Develop a Master Data Management team to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of revenue-related data across systems and processes.
- Define and enforce governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support revenue strategy initiatives by providing insights, data analysis, and recommendations to optimize revenue generation and business performance.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process changes, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to revenue operations, process management, and business intelligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, finance, supply chain (or other equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a revenue operations or sales environment.
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation techniques, with experience using tools such as BPMN, Visio, or Lucid chart.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives and implementing change management strategies.
- Solid understanding of technology systems and their impact on revenue processes, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technology teams.
- Experience in master data management and data governance practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
