Project Manager, Science/Bioengineering

The Technical Project Manager works closely with our scientist and engineering teams to provide project management services in support of executing biology research and/or medical device engineering projects.  This position reports to the Head of Project Management, with a dotted reporting line to the assigned program owners.

**This position is based onsite in Dallas with an expectation of traveling once each quarter as per business needs.**

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide professional project management to support assigned programs, including:
• Facilitate project planning activity by working closely with program owners to develop project timelines, identifying milestones and deliverables at each project stage
• Track progress against deliverables and timelines
• Monitor expenses against project budgets
• Communicate effectively with scientific researchers and engineers
• Support, coordinate and monitor activity related to contract research organizations (CROs), technical consultants, and other service providers as appropriate
• Coordinate communication between key stakeholders, including contracted vendors, consultants and other team members
• Support Program Owners in all project operational and administrative tasks
• Support scientists and technical resources through experiment planning

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in positions involving project management, in a Biology Research or Medical Hardware Device Development setting, working with internal teams and CROs. 
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google products
• Demonstrated competency in common productivity software, including the following (or substantially similar applications) Google Suite, Jira, Smartsheets, Trello and Notion.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field(preferably life sciences or engineering). PMI-ACP, CSM certifications are considered a plus.
