Project Manager - Smart Field Services

Location: Fully Remote (Europe)
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Industry: Global Manufacturing (Highly Regulated Environment)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of smart field services for a large global manufacturer operating in a highly regulated industry. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in project management, particularly within the manufacturing or industrial sectors. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe to ensure the successful deployment and integration of smart field services solutions. This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel as required.

Requirements

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and field service teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of smart field services solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders across Europe, including senior management, technical teams, and field service personnel.
• Facilitate regular communication and reporting to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Ensure all project activities align with the strategic objectives of the organization and meet the requirements of a highly regulated environment.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, fostering collaboration and ensuring the successful delivery of project milestones.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting best practices in project management and smart field service implementation.
• Quality & Compliance:
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the quality standards and regulatory requirements of the manufacturing industry.
• Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to navigate complex regulations and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the field services domain.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to the development of best practices for future projects.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven experience managing projects in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of smart field services, IoT, and related technologies.
• Experience working with global teams and managing projects remotely.
• Skills:
• Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, particularly within manufacturing.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
