Who you are

Reporting to the Head of HR Governance and Strategic Execution, this team works in close collaboration with the CHRO, the HR Leadership Team and key partners to ensure stable and effective governance routines that enable streamlined and successful execution of strategic priorities for the HR function. This centralized function ensures we are aligning resources and product owners, implementing appropriate governance, creating project plans, tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies and change management needs. The role of Strategic Execution Project Manager requires excellent project management skills including ability to collaborate with executive sponsors and other lead business partners responsible for project scope and outcomes to develop and manage detailed plans including milestone and risk reporting. The Project Manager must display ability to leverage appropriate project methodology to meet needs of the project and to ensure success. Projects may involve technology integration, as well as HR specific program deployment and will always require ability to bridge between subject matter experts and those responsible for executing project requirements.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Collaborating with executive sponsors and subject matter experts to transform project scope to detailed project plans.
• Tracking and reporting of the plan including highlighting and managing issues and risks and providing regular status reporting that will be incorporated into broad status for the HR Governance & Strategic Execution team overall.
• Leading independently and/or within a larger program, specific project deliverables of one or more strategic initiatives.
• Collaborating with the Change Management function within the HR Governance & Strategic Execution team to ensure all change is properly supported enabling ultimate project success.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

• 5-7 years working in project management
• Exceptional organizational skills, oral and written communication skills are required
• Ability to anticipate problems, dependencies, risks and take necessary steps to resolve
• High proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and/or other project management tools
• Experience with cross-functional teams, managing projects and deliverables and interacting with people across all levels of the organization
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment that is fast-paced and rapidly changing
• Trustworthy and professional in dealing with confidential, sensitive HR information
• Prior experience working in HR, Technology or Financial services industry a plus
