We currently have a career opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Consultant to join our team located in Atlanta, GA. NOTE: this will be onsite, onsite client site and partially remote.

Job Overview

Versatile Project Manager/Business Consultant who is also proficient in technical program management. This role involves handling projects efficiently from conception to completion, excelling in client interactions, leading teams effectively, ensuring operational efficiency, and possessing a strong technical background to manage complex technical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships meticulously to ensure satisfaction with our services. This involves consistent communication to grasp and meet their expectations fully.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to solve client issues, including evaluations, planning, and overseeing project execution, with a keen eye on technical details.
  • Unite and inspire team members towards common goals, providing guidance and encouragement to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Guarantee that projects are executed efficiently, within timelines and budget constraints, managing tasks, resources, and monitoring progress meticulously.
  • Oversee technical projects, ensuring the integration of new technologies and systems aligns with business goals. Understand technical requirements and work closely with technical teams to guide project direction and implementation.
  • Identify potential risks in both technical and non-technical aspects of projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure project components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing project outcomes and identifying lessons learned and best practices to be applied in future projects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive and can leverage new tools and methodologies for improved project outcomes.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

  • Solid experience in project and technical program management, including a deep understanding of technical project life cycles, financial management, and project planning tools.
  • Proficient in time management, capable of detailed project planning, and adept at progress tracking using technical project management tools.
  • Experienced in facilitating technical meetings, workshops, and providing regular updates on technical project progress.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent at identifying technical challenges and devising effective solutions, with a strategic approach to planning and execution.
  • Flexible in managing multiple technical projects with changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work across different departments and teams, integrating business and technical requirements to achieve cohesive project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure project deliverables meet these needs effectively.
  • Skilled in managing change, ensuring teams and stakeholders are aligned and adapting to project evolutions smoothly.

Good to have:

  • Hands-on experience with relevant technologies and software development methodologies to guide technical discussions and decisions.

Education

  • BS or MS in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) and Technical Program Management (e.g., Agile, Scrum) are highly valued.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
