Project Manager/Superintendent

Project Manager Job Category: Management Job Details Job Description: This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day work on assigned projects. This position includes but is not limited to assisting with the management of the company schedule, ensuring deadlines are met, awareness of project costs, management of project scopes, scheduling subcontractors and customer communication. This position requires equipment operation and manual labor as needed. This position may be required to perform a variety of other duties assigned in addition to those listed below. This position is responsible to complete the following tasks: • Assist in preparing work plans and scheduling in determining manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements • Monitor job schedule and coordinate work with contractors and deliveries with suppliers • Must be able to develop and maintain job schedules • Advise senior management and/or project management of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, etc. and assist in resolving such problems as required • Communicate work plans and schedules to foreman’s and other construction crew members • Examine/inspect field conditions and troubleshoot problems, correct inaccuracies, and implement cost saving measures • Must be able to communicate with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner Job Qualifications/Experience: This position requires a self-motivated, dedicated, reliable, and responsible individual. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Agriculture or related field (preferred) • At least 2 years of project management experience • Underground/dirt work experience • Experience using Bluebeam software • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks • Current OSHA 30 certification (preferred) • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time We also provide great benefits such as medical, dental, vision, Simple IRA retirement plan, life insurance, vacation, and holiday pay.
