Autoscribe Informatics, A Xybion Company, is looking for a Project Manager/Technical Consultant to join our friendly Technical Services team within a fast-growing software company.
The successful candidate must have strong SQL (an assessment will be given as part of the interview process) along with a proven track record of managing a project from late sales through project completion.
This position involves the implementation of software systems (LIMS - Laboratory Information Management Systems) in a wide variety of industries.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team of Technical Specialists; you will be involved in the delivery of innovative software at the cutting-edge of the industry.
You must have a working knowledge of laboratories and how a LIMS works within them.
The successful candidate will receive training on our software and configuration tools, as well as 3rd party software packages. A competitive salary will be offered dependent on experience with benefits including health insurance contribution.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Delivery of off-site consultancy services to customers including software design, data modelling, technical architecture, Matrix Configuration, API/Integration/Plugin design and delivery, technical delivery, report design and delivery, and training
  • Plan, facilitate, and lead requirement gathering sessions with clients and Autoscribe resources.
  • Assist the BA in creating functional requirements documents and design specifications
  • Manage project throughout the entire implementation including budget, change requests and timelines
  • Record time spent on customer related projects, Autoscribe activities, and administrative efforts using company approved time- tracking tool
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks for documentation, configurations, coding, reports, etc. of other technical staff
  • Assist with support for Autoscribe customers via email, telephone, or virtual meetings within the North America where necessary
  • Collaboration with the appropriate people on the U.K. team as needed
  • Other related tasks on an as needed basis
Required skills:

  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • SQL Server
  • C#
  • Crystal Reporting
  • Project Management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fast learner

Laboratory and/or experience with Matrix Gemini LIMS is a plus.
