The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Client Account Services Team, the Project Operations and Risk Senior Specialist will assist in the delivery and integration of new Global Trade Repository (GTR) products and services that directly impact the department and our client base. Using a range of in-depth industry knowledge, project management, and business analysis skills, the Senior Specialist will be a key player in partnering with Product Management and Technology to translate business priorities and goals into clear technical requirements. A key component of this role is to ensure our department is operationally ready to support any new operational capabilities and processes derived from changing regulatory requirements, new product lines, client needs, and process improvements. In addition, the Project Operations and Risk Senior Specialist will focus on implementing operational readiness plans, leading to the fulfillment of successful strategic business and regulatory goals, while increasing operational efficiencies and delivering excellent client service.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as a project lead on new product initiatives that intersect with client account onboarding and lifecycle processes
- Manage the development and implementation of new products or services
- Participate in scoping requirements, performing user acceptance testing, and collaborating within agile teams to prioritize and resolve issues prior to production roll-out
- Support, manage and prioritize all initiatives on the project book of work for the RDS Onboarding function
- Design and implement processes to support operational readiness for new products and services
- Define the delivery of training to internal teams and/or for our strategic partners and clients
- Compile project status reporting, transforming data from several sources into informative reports for use by internal partners, senior leadership, and auditors/regulators
- Create and refine standard operating procedures on behalf of the Client Account Services department
- Able to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success:
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and a creative problem-solving approach
- Highly organized and able to deal with multiple competing priorities
- Proven experience in process development for new service products and deliverables
- Promoting a culture of continual service improvement aimed at enhancing and improving operational efficiencies
- Ability to collaborate effectively, building and nurturing strong relationships within cross-functional teams and across multiple partners
- Excellent, adaptive verbal and written communication skills including the ability to collaborate with client audiences confidently
- High cultural intelligence to be able to interact within a global and inclusive organization
- Technical background (e.g., Computer Science or related field) is preferred
- Understanding of the agile process model is preferred but not required
- Background in risk and controls management is an advantage
- Knowledge of trade reporting and the industry is preferred

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
