The opportunity

We are looking for you to join our team as Project Planning & Controls Specialist (f/m/d) for the handling, controlling and monitoring of customer-specific large-scale HVDC projects. We are looking for engineering, procurement, and construction projects know-how, systematic working style as well as strong teamwork and communication skills. How you'll make an impact

  • A key member of project controls team for an HVDC project in Germany
  • Contribute to the on-time delivery on the projects
  • Drive collaboration between the partners and customers
  • Ensure close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in your role as a central contact person
  • Actively monitor and control of project progress using Hitachi policies and best practices to ensure that customer requirements are completed on time and in accordance to the contract
  • Ensure that all projects are implemented and completed in accordance with health, safety and environmental directive

Your background

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable (Bachelor / Master / Dipl.)
  • Relevant professional experience in EPC project management (EPC - engineering, procurement, construction)
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Certification / further education PMI-SP is a plus
  • Very good communication skills, pronounced customer orientation as well as structured working methods and ability to work in a team
  • English and German fluent in spoken and written
