This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Procurement Lead in Brazil.

This role is a strategic and operational procurement leadership position focused on ensuring the efficient sourcing of goods, services, and external labor for large-scale field operations in the energy sector. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance, optimizing procurement strategies, and ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met across assigned subregions. The position plays a key role in connecting sourcing activities with operational execution, supporting critical energy infrastructure projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to build strong partnerships, manage contracts, and improve procurement processes. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, global environment where operational excellence and continuous improvement are essential. You will also contribute to supplier development initiatives and support the implementation of long-term sourcing strategies.

Accountabilities:

  • Support sourcing operations to ensure alignment with safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash objectives across assigned subregions.
  • Develop and implement commodity strategies, ensuring alignment with regional sourcing goals and operational requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract execution (MSAs, SOWs), and performance monitoring.
  • Drive RFQ processes, cost analysis, and procurement activities to meet budget and project cost targets.
  • Support and execute supplier development initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Monitor demand requests and ensure proper handling through sourcing systems and approved processes.
  • Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, procurement standards, and “No PO, No Pay” requirements.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to support business needs and operational continuity.
  • Manage supplier performance issues, including NCRs, claims, and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with service, operations, and productivity teams to align sourcing strategies with execution needs.
  • Support procurement reporting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or analytical roles in a project-based environment.
    • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and category management.
    • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proven ability to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
    • English proficiency required for global collaboration.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
