We are currently seeking a Project Program Management Advisor to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

NDFG is seeking a Submarine Maintenance Outfitting Advisor to provide support to the Maintenance Outfitting division of the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program Office at the Naval Sea Systems Command based at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing GPETE (Government Purchased Test Equipment) and SPETE (Special Electronic Test Equipment) equipment required by the SPETERL (Special Portable Electronic Test Equipment Requirements List) on board during all New Construction (NEWCON) of VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Assisting with the review and tracking of Ship Alts, drawing revisions, revisions to the SPETERL, etc. in support of Maintenance Outfitting.
• Providing analysis and updates to the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), as well as Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Data Release Forms, etc.
• Participating in and presenting at Supply Support Readiness Review (SSRR) and Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings.
• Coordinating FCA (Field Calibration Activity) Certifications to include support equipment for VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Tracking Maintenance Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products to support certification of NEWCON VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Tracking I&D equipment to be manufactured by contracted government activities.
• Coordinating Calibration Measurement Requirements Summary (CMRS) efforts for new/redesigned Submarine systems.
• Tracking ship delivery schedule and ILS plan to provide maintenance Logistics Technical Data (LTD) to NEWCON VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Tracking Planned Maintenance System (PMS) installs on NEWCON VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Assisting with tracking PMS development for future VIRGINIA Class Submarines.
• Travel approx. 1-2 times per year.

The candidate also must be able to manage changing priorities and timelines, track program office metrics, maintain configuration management of maintenance outfitting documentation, as well as draft correspondence and prepare presentations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience performing technical functions supporting Navy submarines
• Minimum 5 years of client facing customer service experience
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience to include, managing changing priorities and timelines, tracking program office metrics, drafting correspondence, and preparing presentations.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Possess a secret clearance
