Job Description

The Project Specialist will provide project operations support for high priority Quality Measurement & Research Group (QMRG) contracts. Major responsibilities: customer outreach and communications, gathering, organizing and distilling information; performing tasks in all phases of a project including client/stakeholder relations, timeline management and communication/collaboration across NCQA and our customers. Requires ability to work independently and responsibly, prioritize, exercise good judgment and initiative, and respond quickly to changing priorities. The candidate will need to have excellent customer support and communication skills, and work with various project team members to ensure the quality and timely completion of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Support QMRG contracts and operations:

  • Support project tasks. Accountable for quality and timely completion of work.
  • Lead internal and external coordination. This includes scheduling meetings, taking notes during meetings and drafting meeting summaries.
  • Draft internal communications (written and oral) and draft and help finalize external communications (written and oral).
  • Aid in proofreading, editing and production of reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate logistics and setup for project team meetings.
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-meeting planning activities.

Facilitate customer service and communication:

  • Support outreach, communication and relationship building with external customers.
  • Draft internal communication (written and oral).
  • Draft and help finalize external communications (written and oral).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ months of experience coordinating and supporting multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, strong grammar, attention to detail, spelling and proofreading skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-faced environment and manage competing/changing priorities.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Comfortable with Web-based systems.
