Role overview
The Project Specialist, Employee Experience will co-design, implement, and administer a variety of employee engagement, OD, and talent development programs. Focus on facilitating a positive work environment and helping to intentionally create our desired culture, through meaningful employee engagement programs and processes including employee onboarding, recognition, and "moments that matter" experiences.
A day in the life...
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution of the following programs, processes, and experiences:
New Hire Experience: Create a best-in-class onboarding experience across our offices and remote - focus on delivery and continuous process improvement

Role overview
The Project Specialist, Employee Experience will co-design, implement, and administer a variety of employee engagement, OD, and talent development programs. Focus on facilitating a positive work environment and helping to intentionally create our desired culture, through meaningful employee engagement programs and processes including employee onboarding, recognition, and "moments that matter" experiences.
A day in the life...
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution of the following programs, processes, and experiences:
New Hire Experience: Create a best-in-class onboarding experience across our offices and remote - focus on delivery and continuous process improvement
- Submit tech requests to IT (based on info coming out of Enboarder)
- Swag: Submit orders for new hire swag boxes to be mailed to new hire's homes + Relationship manager with Swag.com for new hire swag and budget
- Logistical coordination of speakers for orientation (including partnering with WFM for FLCT participation in Member Story section via the WFM Slack channel)
- Manage orientation every other Monday and Tuesday - welcome new hires, sit through all presentations, troubleshoot issues, etc. (and off-cycle tech sessions)
- Monitor onboarding email inbox
- Schedule quarterly onboarding sessions (i.e. leader live with Raj, Innovation Roadmap, DEI security etc.) and work with LMS team to create registration on AccoladeU
- Manage feedback survey touchpoints and analytics via Enboarder and CultureAmp, making recommendations to continually improve the experience
- Manage The Beat pages (New Hire page and Onboarding step of HM toolkit)
- Keep Onboarding SOP up to date for team
- Work with TA to ensure People Leaders/Hiring Managers are kept up to date on the process/responsibilities
- Owner of Enterprise Onboarding and FLCT Presenter Slack channels
- Manage the weekly onboarding report from Workday and follow-up with New Hire on outstanding pre-hire Workday tasks as needed (pulling in the Leader and/or P&C BP as needed)
Employee Milestone Communications:
- Update and publish Monthly Fresh Faces, On the Move, and Accoversary publications on The Beat & slack, amplify on slack (including promotion letters)
Rewards & Recognition:
- SME and creator of Kudoboards for the entire company (manage requests into inbox - point person for P&C team)
- Monitor Accolade branded recognition notecard orders
- Sending Blueboard Experience rewards (for disco raffle, culture champs, one-offs)
- Disco raffle
- Cultural Champ program
Employee Experience:
- Support for Spirit Committee events and/or Community/Volunteer Events - Ideate, design, coordinate and manage onsite and virtual employee social events to increase sense of belonging and fun.
- Manage sending baby gift to new parents
- Manage process for sending sympathy or get well flowers to employees
Additional:
- Scheduling/Calendar support for intern onboarding/events throughout the summer
- Provide ad hoc project and event support, as needed.
What we are looking for...
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources , Talent Management, Talent Acquisition or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a cross functional role in Human Resources or related field
- A great communicator, able to clearly communicate issues, ideas and concepts both verbally and in written form
- Agile, nimble and able to bring cross functional teams together to deliver results, experience working within a complex and ever changing organization
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new systems, subject matters, and processes quickly
- A self-motivated, organized, and strategic thinker who can manage multiple ongoing projects at once
- Highly organized with an ability to adapt to changing needs and excellent attention to detail
- A flexible, adaptable professional in the face of ambiguity - you're not afraid to take an intelligent risk or change direction
