Project Systems Management Engineer (PSM)

We are looking for a new colleague in the Systems Engineering Departmentat our location in Livonia, Michigan.

The role of the PSM is responsible for the application development of theBrake Control Systems. It is a project lead role that interacts closely withthe different component development teams, the Engineering ProjectManager (EPM), and the customer. The PSM identifies the workpackages on the system level of application projects and defines thescope of change and then plans the content of the staged systemdeliveries.

Your Responsibilities:

• Main technical customer contact for system level topics
• Analyze and negotiatecustomer system requirements
• Lead system development across the involved engineeringdepartments
• Tailoring of the core product, architecture, and requirements tothe application project
• Release of the system to production

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Preferred degrees would bemechanical, electrical,mechatronic, systems engineering, or similar.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Interest in the application of the System 'V' cycle and traceability
• Interest in learning to interface with CAN and vehicle networking architectures
• Familiar/interest with/in OEM component design and release for vehiclemechatronic and control systems or related embedded controller electromechanical systems
• Preferred experience/knowledge of mechatronic principles, fluidpower/hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to travel, as required.
