Proofreader - Associate

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate Proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules and know how they are applied in alignment within our style guide. This person should be meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word usage, and know how to check statements for accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment. This role will require effective communication with the designers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure documents meet all company guidelines.

• Review documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
• Fact-check dates, data, and other statements for accuracy.
• Make corrections and suggest edits to documents.
• Meet proofreading deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Familiarity with AP and other style guides
• Possess a high attention to detail
• Fact-checking and research expertise
• Excellent grammar and communication skills
• Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, marking up comments digitally in PDFs as well as within digital workflow platforms such as Optimizely Welcome

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
