Property Compliance Staff

Job Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring the property control program and recording activities to ensure continual accountability and compliance with applicable Government regulations and Corporate policy. The candidate will work with the Property Manager, Supervisor, staff, and adjacent organizations to ensure the compliance and accuracy of the property system.
- Perform accountable record reviews and system testing and provides management metrics demonstrating compliance.
- Analyzes and interprets data and briefs management on conclusions and recommendations.
- Provide guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability
- Develop and recommends property administration policy and procedures
- Prepares periodic and special purpose reports for both internal and external customer use
- Represent the organization as a prime contact with internal and external personnel related to government property
Work Model
This position will be located 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reviews and audits Property processes and actions for compliance with Corporate and Property policies, procedures, Government regulations (to include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contractual requirements), and coordinates with internal and external customers to support Property audits.
- Assists in the development of Property Management policies, procedures and forms.
- Updates the government UID system and records related to government furnished property.
- Trains, coaches, and mentors Property staff; acts as department resource for selected corporate and federal Property topics, policies, and procedures; advises management in the application of FAR and related requirements.
- Analyzes Property systems, including the Property database system. Recommends revisions to Property policies and procedures and advises staff on changes to Property policies, procedures, and regulations; maintains an awareness of, and provides guidance in, the implementation of FAR and other Government/Corporate requirements.
- Conducts training sessions on new and revised Property procedures and related Property/regulatory topics, coaches internal customers on various aspects of the Property Management process.
- Identifies Government property issues and provides leadership solutions to a variety of complex problems.
- Acts as primary liaison and interface for all reviews/audits conducted by both internal and external agencies. Responsible for coordinating corrective action plans as necessary.
- Actively supports the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Internal Audit, and other oversight agencies.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of relevant experience, including managing government property in the defense industry
- Experience with accountable recordkeeping systems and processes
- Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Experience with Property Management best practices, standards and methodologies
- Ability to obtain Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) designation
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Property Outcomes and other requirements identified within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1
We offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
(Min - Mid - Max)
$75,000 - $90,000 - $105,000
Pay Basis: Annual
