About the Role:
Gen3 seeks a motivated Proposal Manager to support the strategic development of proposals for federal and state clients. This role will involve managing the full-cycle proposal process, enhancing proposal operations, and ensuring compliance with governmental requirements.
Project basis: Hours will vary based on RFP submission and client requirements and from project to project. Typically, 10 to 50 hours will be needed per project.
Type of Work: Contract/1099.
Location: Remote, US.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the proposal process, ensuring the submission of compliant and compelling proposals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, business development, and SMEs to mature the proposal development process.
- Facilitate formal proposal reviews, ensuring high-quality submissions that meet compliance standards.
- Contribute to writing and editing proposals and white papers.
- Manage the organization of past performance and proposal libraries.
- Support the development of team members.
- Contribute to the development of Gen3’s corporate strategy by supporting the proposal management team.
- Assist in setting direction for proposal development, aligning it with Gen3’s strategy.
- Promote Gen3 values while participating in practice-building and business development initiatives.
- Support the growth of client relationships by identifying new opportunities and adapting to client needs.
- Help drive client strategy by maintaining high-value relationships and aligning proposal efforts with client goals.
What You'll Need:
- Five to ten years of related experience.
- Proven expertise in full-cycle proposal management for federal government proposals and RFPs.
- Experience in project management and technical writing is preferred.
What's Desired to Have:
- Previous experience supporting federal or state agencies is highly desired.
- Shipley training or certification and project management training or certification are advantageous.
