Proposal Writer

Job Summary

The Proposal Writer prepares our winning client-facing proposals by resolving the response approach, collecting and formatting relevant information, writing and reviewing drafts, and acquiring required approvals for successful submissions.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitates proposal development life cycle from receipt of Request For Proposal through final submission. Develops proposals by assembling information, coordinating with subject matter authorities, and writing content.
• Resolves and coordinates proposal outline and schedule to meet proposal deadline.
• Collects and prepares Request For Proposal questions to be submitted to the client.
• Conducts proposal kickoff meetings with internal collaborators to review proposal timelines, landmarks, and responsibilities to meet the bid deadline.
• Prepares and partners with marketing to complete required supporting documentation, graphics, and tables.
• Responsible for substantive editing graphics text integration and proposal graphics.
• Prepares and handles draft cycle reviews for sales and executive leadership.
• Maintain assigned sections of the Boilerplate Library within proposal technology.
• Complete required forms and acquire required signatures using DocuSign.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years of work experience OR Associate's Degree plus 4-7 years of work experience

Additional Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Formal bid writing and management experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
• Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
