Job Description
The Proposal Specialist will work closely with sales, marketing, product specialist, solution architects, professional services, operations, and other groups as necessary to coordinate a winning client response.
They will establish best practices and a firm list of standards/assumptions. They will also be responsible for triaging professional service opportunities as they come through MCPC’s CRM portal.Â
Additional Duties:Â
- Fully manage client RFI/RFP process and responses
- Triage and assign service sales opportunities to appropriate Business Unit leader
- Monitor progress of sales opportunity and escalate status as needed
- Respond to information request from clients and partners
- Establish best practices and list of standards/assumptions
- Draft/update/maintain RFP templates, service descriptions and other standard response language used to proposals and RFPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of industry writing experience
- Minimum 1 year experience working with a CRM solution such as: Salesforce, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, or other
- 2 years’ experience preferred working for a technology solution provider
- Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with the development of an RFP response
- Exceptional spoken/written English including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Strong Business Acumen (time management, accuracy, attention to detail)
